Club France promises a vibrant and unforgettable 18-day celebration of team France and the 2012 Olympic games.
Opening 27 July at Old Billingsgate between the Thames and the Tower Bridge, Club France offers 4 buzzing floors of entertainment throughout the Olympic games at the historic Victorian venue. Club France is presented by the National Olympic and Sports Committee of France (CNSOF), and access is FREE for Olympic event ticket holders each day. Without a sport event ticket, admission packages start at 5 pounds for daily access.
Through 12 August, Club France will offer the ultimate hub of French culture to fans and athletes alike. The ground level welcomes guests of all ages into the epicenter of the party, where the games will be streamed live on giant screens and interactive stations will provide the most up-to-date news on team France.
The French Olympic Committee will host nightly parties to present athletes who have received medals in each day of competition. Entertainment on the ground floor concert venue will be provided each night by club France resident artist DJ Kheops, member of the French hip-hop band IAM, as well as French rock-soul-funk fusion band Cover and various other artists.
The basement will house restaurant “La Brasserie,” home to traditional yet imaginative French cuisine. Renowned gourmet French food company Fauchon is catering all the food for the venue.
During the day, fans can also find shops for team France souvenirs, interviews with athletes, and various photo opportunities. Club France will be open from 9-19h for general visitors. The club can be accessed from the Tower Hill and Monument tube stations or from Tower Gateway DLR (Docklands Light Rail). Tickets can be purchased here.
