Come down to the beautiful setting at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in Westminster and explore some exciting Italian design and food at the Casa Italia Olympic House.
The Italians are famous for their food and wine and you can have the opportunity to taste some of their products that will be on display in a special “Made in Italy” expo on one of the six floors of the massive conference centre.
The Centre, which Italy has spent £1.1 million to transform for the Olympics, will also have a display of beautiful Italian models and trademark FIAT cars and motorbikes throughout the Games. It could not be located in a more scenic setting, as it boasts superb views over Westminster and the Thames and is also in the shadow of Big Ben.
Besides the models (men, women and cars), the Centre will also boast performances from Italian artists and performers, plus a special VIP zone for high-profile guests.
There will also be a stand to promote Italy’s most read and most popular newspaper ‘la gazzetta dello sport’. You can pick up a copy of the paper every day or catch some sporting action on the Gazzetta TV channel.
