Tickets to desirable 2012 sports events may be all but gone, but there’s an array of amazing FREE and low cost Olympic fun still to be had!

Russia Park (Kensington Gardens, 27 July – Aug 12)
“Russia Park” will feature an array of activities focusing on Russian culture and the spirit of the winter Olympics, an event which they will host in two years. You can even try out winter sports like snowboarding and curling!
Russia’s sporting heroes will also be making an appearance in London as will other stars of Russian fame. Russia’s delicacies will similarly be a part of it for you to sample.
Opening on 27 July, Russia Park will be open between 10:00 and 19:30 through the end of the 2012 games and is completely FREE. Their sister attraction, Sochi Park, will have an admission charge though. More information can be found here.
House of Switzerland (Glaziers Hall, 20 July – Aug 12)
The FREE Swiss attraction will allow you to go “mountain” climbing, indulge in some authentic Swiss cuisine, and even go to a nightclub featuring international and Swiss DJs!
Visit from 21 July to 12 August, between 09:00 to 23:00. The official opening will take place on 20 July at 19:00.
The Swiss will host the word at Glaziers Hall by London Bridge. The London Bridge Tube Station is just a short walk away from the Swiss House.
